Radio volvo v70 :2001: hu603

Radio does not work. It is stopped to show the last channel I used and it does not start to find any other channels

Fuse is not a problem . It has been checked
CD player is working well.

What could be the problem ? and how I can get the audio / radio system out ?

I have to reset the radio in my Nissan xtrail. I have the code and have put that in . The last number keeps flashing and the radio still doesn't work

Not sure if you've reset it before but here are the directions. Pay attention to last paragraph.
If you have done this sorry for not having another answer.
The trick is to know that only the channel preset button labeled 1,2,3,4 are used to enter the PIN - each channel button is used to increment the value of one digit on the display. Channel preset '1' increments the first digit, '2' the second, and so on. Each press of a channel button increments the corresponding digit by one, cycling back to 0 and around again.

So to enter 1924 as a PIN, you'd start with the display reading '0000' and press
- preset 1 once (increment 0 -> 1)
- preset 2 nine times (increment 0 -> 9)
- preset 3 twice (increment 0 -> 2)
- preset 4 four times (increment 0 -> 4)

The last one's easy, as the radio unlocks as soon as you hit the right code so you just keep pressing preset button 4 'til it unlocks! (i.e. it's a 4 digit PIN but only as secure as a 3 digit one.

Radio

You could have a stuck button that is blocking the rest of the buttons from functioning. Check the hand controls on the steering and if all is ok, try get the radio out and unplug it. If this now gives you heater display and functionality the problem is on the radio itself.

Before you delve too deep, disconnect the battery for a few minutes. Sometimes they just get "confused" and need a reboot! Its worth a try!

Hi i have ford festiva 2000, on the radio only err is blinking, i tried to put code but does not working, i know the code but how should i enter it

by audrey_oMember since:21 July 2006Total points:5,110 (Level 5)If the code is 2275 for example.

Use the channel select buttons on the front of the radio.
Press channel button 1 twice
Press channel button 2 twice
Press channel button 3 seven times then
channel button 4 five times.

Once the code is in, the radio normally starts automatically.

Radio does not turn on. the clock shows,the light

The memory wire of the radio,(the power for the clock and channel settings) is usually connected to the same circuit as the cigarette lighter. (there is a seperate fuse for radio) Check your cigarette lighter socket for damage or dirt, etc. could be causing the memory fuse to blow. Also check your cig lighter accesories (like cell phone chargers,etc.)

P.S. The backlight is also a seperate circuit (connected to interior light/parking light circuit)
