Signal light wiring

What did the dealer say? (QUESTION? do both the front & back (R) side lights burnout or just the front or the back light is burning out?) - 1. check for corrosion in both the front and back (R) side directional lights sockets. 2. Check to see that the fuse is the correct size, if a 20amp fuse is installed when it should be a 10amp fuse the lights could get a intermittent electrical spike that is burning out the light instead of the fuse. This doesn't help the problem, but it would tell you the problem isn't between the fuse wiring to the light. 3. One last thing I can think of is: some lights ground themselves when you reattach the plug to the chasse. NOTE: not all lights work this way, some other work just the opposite and have a fabric-washer around the top of the plug to keep them from grounding. Confirm what kind you should have as a precaution.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Good Luck

Lost turn signals, hazards, and brake lights

Sounds like you burned a fuseable link wire. Some of the circuits are protected by a fuseable link in addition to the regular fuses you can see.
Check the wires at the starter with a test light or meter - one of them may be burned inside.

/'left front turn signal works but not when headlights are on

1. check your turn signal light bulbs to see if one is burned out or partly burned out. One filament may be broken. Do it with lights on and off. Check brake lights. If one not working that is the problem bulb. Check front and back lights.

2. replace your turn signal flashers in fuse panel

2006 f150 keeps blowing turn signal fuse

It sounds like the fuse is doing what it is supposed to do, and burning out when there is a short circuit. Check the wiring from the fuse block back to the lights and pay special attention to the trailer connection.

Blinkers not working

Did you check the bulbs? If one bulb is burned out, the blinkers won't word on that side. You could have one bulb burned out on each side. Start the car, put left signal on. Check front and back lights. Is one light on but not blinking? If that's the case, the light that's not on at all is burned out and has broken the circuit so the good light stays on and won't blink. Check the other side. You also have a 'flasher' , actually 2. One for emergency flashers, one for the turn signals. It could be that the turn signal flasher is shot. You just have to unplug it to remove. It's probably located near the fuses. good luck countrycurt0
