REAR WIPER ON 08 FORD FIESTA STICKING CAN HEAR MOTOR WORKING

If you can hear the rear wiper motor working but the wiper is sticking and not moving properly, there are several potential reasons for this issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
  1. Check for Obstructions: Inspect the area around the rear wiper blade for any obstructions or debris that might be preventing smooth movement. Clear away any leaves, twigs, or other materials that could be hindering the wiper's motion.
  2. Wiper Arm and Blade Inspection: Examine the rear wiper arm and blade for any damage or signs of wear. A damaged wiper arm or blade might be causing the sticking issue. If there are visible issues, consider replacing the wiper blade assembly.
  3. Lubricate the Wiper Mechanism: Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the wiper pivot points and joints. This can help reduce friction and facilitate smoother movement. Be cautious not to use excessive lubricant, as it may attract more dirt and debris.
  4. Check Wiper Motor Linkage: The wiper motor is connected to the wiper arm by a linkage. Check the linkage for any loose or damaged connections. If the linkage is damaged, it may need to be repaired or replaced.
  5. Inspect Wiper Motor Operation: With the rear wiper turned on, observe the movement of the wiper motor linkage. If the motor is working but the linkage isn't moving correctly, there may be an issue with the linkage assembly.
  6. Wiper Motor Replacement: If all else fails and the problem persists, the wiper motor itself may be faulty. In such cases, replacing the wiper motor may be necessary.
  7. Professional Inspection: If you are unable to identify and resolve the issue on your own, or if the problem is related to internal components, it may be best to seek professional assistance. A mechanic or automotive technician can perform a more detailed inspection and provide a more accurate diagnosis.
Remember to exercise caution when working around moving parts and electrical components. If you're unsure or uncomfortable performing these steps, it's advisable to consult with a professional mechanic or take your vehicle to an authorized service center for further assistance.

Jaguar xk8 problems

loosen the nut at the bottom of the blades so that the wiper motor will work without moving the blades. cycle the wipers and allow the motor to come to the rest position. Fit the blades and tension the nut. Pull the arms off the windscreen and cycle the wiper motor to run until it stops put the wipers back on the screen and see where they are. IF parked properly then OK but if any where then replace the wiper motor as the sequencing gear inside is out of sync with the wiper action.

2005 honda odyssey wiper blades stopped working all of a sudden. can hear the motor but the blades won't move. you can move the blades manually

1. Open Hood.
2. Remove wiper arms by removing cap nuts. they are a tight fit . there is a puller for this.
3 Remove cowel cover . once cover is off you will see the wiper motor and transmission assy. Possibly a snap joint wore out oa nut holding motor drive arm in place loosened up.

Front blades not working fuse ok

The motor is usualy central to the wiper arms and either bolted to the firewall or inside the plenum chamber at the bottom of the windscreen. If you can hear the motor you can find it, track it down by listening.Your probly right about linkage however if that is the case you should be able to move the wipers with your hand and they should move freely if they dont you may have other problems.
