Did you test the switch ? If there is voltage at the switch use a volt meter an see if there is voltage coming out going to the seat motors !
Power seats without memory are completely controlled through the power seat switch. Battery voltage is supplied to the power seat switch through the power seat circuit breaker. While the seat adjuster switches are in an inactive state the switch contacts are closed to the power seat switch ground circuit. When a power seat switch is pressed to an active state the switch contact is closed to the battery voltage supply circuit. Each seat adjuster motor is controlled by the power seat switch through 2 motor control circuits. The seat adjuster motors are bidirectional and the direction of adjuster motor rotation is determined by which of the adjuster motor control circuits is switched to battery voltage while the other remains grounded.
if you have power at the seat switch , the switch is bad or the seat motors . You need to do some voltage testing !

SOURCE: escalade gear oil

Depending on which front axle, "F" axle is GM part #12378261 75W90 Synthetic gear oil, must meet GM spec 9986115
"S" axle is 80W90 gear oil GL-5 spec. I dont know how to tell you to ID which axle you have so I would recommend using Synthetic oil for both front and rear axles.
The rear axle is same as the "F" axle lube as above.

2009 Cadillac Escalade ESV Issues ?!!!

Drop the gas tank and check for contamination/corrosion. You're going to have to do that to replace the fuel level sender anyway and check both the fuel pump (it's in the tank) and the primary filter on the pickup tube.

The up and down function of the power seat does not work. All other power seat functions work. What are the troubleshooting steps to determine the problem?

locate the up\down actuator and probe the connectors to see if power reaches the actuator motor when pushing the switch, if it does the actuator is dead, if no power present probe the up\down switch for power in and power out , if no power reaches the switch you have to follow the wire back towards the fuse and probe all connections along the way, but if there is power in but no power out the switch is defective,

Heated seats

The body control module in this vehicle sees a short in the seat heater system. These vehiucles are typical of the heater wiring shorting out. When you try to use the bad heater the computer shuts off all the heaters.

You will need to install a new seat heater pad.

Hello I have a 2005 Cadilac Escalade ESV and want

Read your owner's manual. It's usually not safe to tow awd vehicles over 45mph or for long distances. Your best bet is a trailer, steering wheel lock and ratchet straps with the vehicle parked front wheels in front of the front wheels of the trailer. But then again, your owner's manual may say something different.
