I have to agree with ratchethands. Unfortunately, a broken timing belt on these Honda engines means that some of the valves were hit by the pistons, bending them; so just putting a new timing belt on probably won't fix it.

Tackling a timing belt replacement is not for the inexperienced person (not saying you are) but this is a complicated replacement. Seek professional help.

I was driving my 1991 honda accord an timing belt broke iam woorried that it might have damaged engine what should i look for i was going to replace belt an try to get back running any advice thanks

Honda engines are what they call interference engines. This means when a timing belt breaks, the pistons hit the valves and bend them. You will need to remove the cylinder head and get the bent valves replaced if you want it to run correctly. Impossible to know how many valves are bent, depends on how fast the engine was turning when the belt broke.

Timing belt broke on my 1992 Honda Accord LX

You just have to try it. The best thing to do is try adjusting the valves. The settings are under the hood. They valves should be pretty close to what the clearances should be. If any are WAY LOOSE you may have a bent valve. If they seem OK, replace the belt. Be sure to replace the balancer belt also.

My power steering belt broke, is it hard for myself to replace it, or should I just take to the mechanic. 93 Honda Accord

To be honest with you. There is lots of things you can do yourself on this car. But first you need to buy a book on yout car. They have them at O' Rilleys Auto Parts Stores. it tells you how tight to put the belt. And step by step how to do lots of jobs. or you can go to Alldata.com its great

How to put a new timing blet on a 1993 honda accord LX 2.2 L

well chances are you now have bent valves , if you bought the car with a bad timing belt then most likely the valves are bent since that motor is an interference engine.
