Inspect and replace plugs and wires as necessary. Check for vacume hose leaks as well You can also run some injector cleaner through and be sure you are using the proper octane gasoline.

I was driving home on the interstate at 70 miles an hour in 5th gear and my car started jerking. why????

The engine has developed a misfire, most likely. Did the check engine light come on or start flashing? If so, find out what codes has set to determine which cylinder is misfiring and then proceed with the repair.

Check the coil packs or individual coils, fuel injection flush at sears where they actually do a flush. Check fuel filter too.

My Daewoo is jerking very badly, and the icon flashes engine needs service but I only had it serviced 3 months ago.

make sure the spark plug wires are all on if they are all on pull the off and look for black lines called carbon tracking from a cracked plug or bad wire just serviced doesn't mean anything if the service light stays on get it scanned and the code can tell you what cylinder is misfiring

Toyota Corolla 98 Cylinder #1 and #4 misfire

It is likely a coil. Cylinder number 1 and 4 are both on the same coil.

1991 Camry running rich

check for vacuum leaks especially around the intake manifold gasket. Although the engine appears to be running rich, it could also be misfiring due to being too lean in one cylinder. When the cylinder doesn't fire the charge, it goes into the exhaust completely unburned and looks like a rich running condition due to the unburned fuel. If it is a vacuum leak causing the problem, the engine will run fine at road speeds but misfire at idle and not pass smog.

Toyota Camry 2.2 1994 model

Have your mechanic check the timing belt marks and the condition of the belt itself. If the cam is retarded a 1/2 tooth due to age, this will create this problem as well. Have him also check for any vacuum leaks at the intake.
