WHAT DOES THESE CODES MEAN P0507 AND P0741
Code 507 is for a problem with the idle speed control being too high, and code 741 is for a problem with the torque converter clutch circuit.
You would check for vac leaks and see if the idle air control valve is working, and check the circuit for the torque converter clutch.

what that means is that the ecm(main computer) is not getting a voltage signal value from the o2 sensor. this could be due to a broken wire,bad plug or a bad sensor please rate this thanks

First thing you have to do is list all the codes, because some some might be stored for a long time. Pushing the OFF and WARM buttons together and holding will ghive you all the stored codes. Then press OFF and HI together to clear all codes. Hold and wait for bars or 0's. Now start your car and let it get up to proper operating temps. Take car for aride that aincludes all phases of driving including highway speeds. Observe SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT for coming on . Assuming it does , repeat steps previously provided, read codes stored and repair accordingly. If need be contact me with new codes and I will try to assist you.

turn off radio.disconnect battery negative cable.wait 20 minutes let air bags discharge.now the early model cadillac to move radio you had to move the radio bezel.the later model cadillac you move radio by removing instrument panel center cluster bezel.remove the retaining screws and pull the radio outward to access the back side then disconnect the electrical connectors and antenna lead.then lift radio out of the instrument panel.

all of the above codes seem to have a common cause, they all list a bad ecm (computer) as being a cause, and the last code P0601 points specifically to a bad computer. sorry for the bad news, hope this helps.

Check the fuses/circuit breaker for the heated seats, check the switch but most likely it is the pad under the seat cover. This is a high failure item.

that this dealer doesnt have the correct diagnostic software because their code is a generic code as well as the first one ,A GM dealer code would have been P1507 and this code doesnt exist in the GM list of codes ,i think they are both right and need attention but the gearbox code is a fault with the front clutch operating mechanism ,i would advise ripping teh autobox out and fitting a manual gearbox ,lot less hassle
