You may have a bad MAP sensor( manifold absolut Preasure) .

i have the same car it was doing the same i change the mass air flow sensor now run like a brand new car but cost me arround 400$ but to make sure just buy the spray can to clean it you'l se if it run better or go for a scan in a car chop,I hope this gonna help you!...se ya!Patrick give me some news...

Sorry!... Not a congruent description of problem. Apparently you damages something (wire harness perhaps) which was already weak/deteriorated. Solution, do a visual inspection of the engine wiring harness in the area of the tranmission. Hopefully you'll get lucky.
