Have a 1991 Buick regal,it stops charging wen I plug in temp/fuel gauge into the cluster, why would it do that?

Does it stop charging or the light just comes on/gauge goes down? Plug it in and check if the alternator is putting out 13+ volts. It could be a short in the cluster or the wire from the alternator.

The excact location of fuseable link for 91 3.8 lt buick regal, there's only one little wire on selinoid

The two fusible links on G.M. cars used to be behind the alternator. A heavy (appx. 10 gauge) wire on the alternator had a fusible link a couple of inches back from the bolt. Pull on wire to see if the link is burned out. The other link was attached to the starter soleniod . Same test.

I need an electral diagram of the charging system of a 1991 chevy pickup

There is no wiring diagram for the charging system, unless you're talking about the regulator inside the alternator. The battery connects directly to the alternator, and that's the only wire involved. If the regulator fails, you have to replace the alternator.

I have a new battery, replaced the starter and checked the alternator and It is not charging the battery. in my 1991 Buick regal 3.8 [the origanal delco alternator was replaced before I got it] and the one...

The gauges fuse under the dash powers the idiot lights and gauges. If they are working, you need to check the fusible links.Disconnect the battery then look at the starter. The terminal that the heavy battery cable bolts to also has 2-3 other wires bolted to it give each wire a moderate pull,if any stretches easily the link is burnt. When a large short occurs the link will burn out but the insulation usually still looks fine.Make sure to replace it with the same size fusible wire.
