First check the fuse box under the hood for a blown or poorly connected fuse. Next, find the wires going to the wiper switch and check for power when you turn the switch on. Finally, if there is power everywhere you checked, go directly to the motor and check it for getting power. Also check the ground wires for this device. If no ground...no action!

Your wipers are on the "delay" setting. Make sure they are ALL the way OFF.

SOURCE: Wind shield wipers stop have way up The wipers are

Under the bottom of the outside windshield you will see a grate with slots that let you look down inside. One of the arms connected to the wiper motor must have come loose. Might be as simple as a clip keeping the arm on slipped off and then the arm too. There should be screws to remove the grating in view either if you lift the hood and look on the firewall or even on top on the corners of the grating. You can take that off and get into the wiper motor area. Let me know if this helped and ppppplease leave me a good thumbs up for the effort. I need to keep my score up. Thanks, The Raz Shack

Wind shield wipers not working

The wind shield wipers not working could mean either the wiper motor is faulty or the fuse, relay or switch in the steering column is faulty.

You will need an auto electrician to have a look.

Cannot get the wind shield wiper motor back in the wind shield wiper stops in the middle of the wind shield

this is normally caused by a bad wiper motor or binding of the wiper gears and linkage arms.
check to see if the linkage arms are tight and not loose. also try and lube up the pivot points.
another thing to check is to make sure you have 12 volts to the heater.

Wind shield wipers stop in center of window

Sounds like a linkage (wiper transmission) problem. But, put an external ground wire to the wiper motor first and see if they work then.
Also many wipers have a fastening nut on the wiper arm where it attaches to the stub that goes through the body. These may have loosened and gone out of adjustment. If so, loosen them and re-position arms, then tighten them down.
