Charged battery. replaced ignition module. new coil packs. replaced crankshaft sensor. checked fuses related to ignition. cleaned ground wires. will roll car off cliff soon. please help.
I noticed you replace the crankshaft sensor, but not the CAMshaft sensor.
The Ignition module takes the input of both sensors to tell the coil when to energize.
This sensor should come up as an error code when you attach a obd reader.
Even if your light is not on - there may be a code. If it is not your vehicle originally, some people pull the bulb!
on-board data.
Scantool is required to read. any murrays or autozone (autoparts store) will hook it up and read the codes for you for free (in order for you to buy needed parts from them)
i am familliar with a '92. If it is in the same location, you have to remove the P/S front tire to access it.
It will look like this....
This pic may help... it is a 94 turbo - should be same location however...
not turbo... lol supercharged!
