Seat Belt Bell

I have a 2005 Hyundai Sonata. When I turn right the seat belt bell rings which is very annoying. This does not happen when my wife drives the car (she weighs a lot less than I do). Now no solutions like loss 100 lbs etc. Sometimes it just continually goes off with movement or braking. Help

There is a pin on the inside of the door - we built up 2 or 4 layers of duck tape on the swinging door to hold closer to the pin - that stop the turn ringing but it will ring if you leave the keys in the car by accident still - Marsha

There is a loud bell ringing but there is no warning lights

Some vehichles have a warning bell for turn signals being left on, trunk lids left open or seat belt sensor could be un-plugged. Think outside the box, you may find it. Good luck:)

My warning chime goes off at random.

Check all your seat belt attachments! This seem to be a leading oroblem with all vehicles that has a few miles on them. All it takes is wasting coffie or soda's into one of those locking mechanisms and it thinks the seat belt is not locked. All these vehicles have seat sensors too! If you sat anything more than 3 to 5 lbs on the seat, it thinks someone is sitting on the seat and the chime will continually go off and drive you nuts. Hope this helps you with your problem Sir

How do I shutoff the seat belt chime ona 2010

Does putting the safety belt on have any effect? Generally the system works by having pressure sensors in the seats. Anyone sat down without a seatbelt on whilst the engine is running triggers the chimes. If you are carrying a box of heavy items on one of the seats this will have the same effect. The only thing is put the seatbelt buckle together.

My door chimer won;t stop ringing it;s driving me crazy help

Look for the plunger coming out of the frame where the door hinge is. Is it broken? When you open the door the plunger is released (comes out) and grounds sending the signal to chime, however this should only happen if your lights are on or key is in. The chime controller may have failed and that's why it also could stay on. Does it happen when the key is in, while driving, or even always stays on? Need more info.

How can you turn off the Hyundai Santa Fe 2007 seat belt chime

well you could cut the dinger out.. but I would not recommend doing that. Usually it makes more sense to just wear your seat belt as local laws require
