Remove the drive belt, remove the 3 mounting bolts by using a socket ththrough the holes in the drive pulley. Remove the upper intake to give you room, slide off the rubber return hose, remove the pressure line and lift out the pump. Just reverse the process to instill the new pump. And fill with the proper fluid.

SOURCE: 2002 Pontiac Montana Thermostat replacement

check the coolant level fiirst...if that is low it wont give you any heat.....to change the thermostat you have to follow the top radiator hose to the engine.at the send of it you will see a clamp take it loose...then you will see the thermostat housing its held in place by 2 bolts . once you remove them you have the thermostat....make sure you clean all the old gasket material off both the housing and mount.also make sure you get a new gasket.

Diagram power steering lines 02 Pontiac Montana

It's pretty basic, there is a high pressure line that goes from the pump to the rack, then a low pressure line that goes from the rack back to the pump.

I got my power steering hose replaced and the 2008 pontiac montana is whining like it was when there was no fluid in it what do I need to do to bleed the line?

I think you damaged the steering pump by driving it without steering fliud in it. It should purge all the air out of the system after turning the wheels full left then full right a few times....check the fluid again then repeat...if fluid is not foamy after trying this then pump needs rebuild or replace....expensive....go to salvage yard and get a used pump....good luck

Power steering, works 1 way but not other

You will have to replace the pump. try removing the pump and see if it turns with the engine off and the key unlocked . Even though it is hard . If it turns replace the pump.
