There is a fuel cut off switch on this vehicle usually found eithe rin the trunk area or in the front passenger kick panel behind the trim. reset this switch just push in a button. it only takes a 15mph impact to trip this switch.

if it is a unibody then it will have an engine cradle or sub-frame that supports the engine and transmission. If you plan on replacing the subframe you will need to support the engine and transmission from the top side with an engine support fixture.
did you remember to put the new o ring in, then is it seated right, next make sure none of the hoses came loose, my experiance is that one or more of the hoses fell off. make sure all hoses are routed to the proper hose connection
The 2000 model year Accent adopts a different "pressurized" leak check system capable of detecting a 0.020" (0.5 mm) diameter leak (previous Hyundai systems detect a 0.040" [1mm] diameter leak using engine vacuum). The new system uses a Diagnostic Module for Tank Leakage (DM-TL) to close and pressurize the fuel evaporative emissions system. The DM-TL replaces the fuel tank pressure sensor and the canister close valve from previous systems. Other significant changes were made to the system logic, including several new diagnostic trouble codes. It compares the differences between the 2000 model year Accent and previous evaporative emission systems...
Que puede ser? Tiene dos opciones. Primero, puede pagar que un tecnico diaga el problema (exactamente) o sigue, secudariamente, su adivnaza.
did you change the filter,(it may be plugged) doese it have fuel...is the new pump alligned in the right direction(pumping fuel to the engine/pumping fuel to the tank)
hi from uk if you look at engine from the front of car the auto fuel shut off device is located /attached to the left hand side of the bulkhead it has a red or yellow button on top you just press down and you may hear cluck ? however try starting then ? hope this helps
One of two places. Look in trunk bolted to fender well, you will have to pull back carpet. OR On passenger side kick panel under dash. Basiclly if you were sitting in pass seat it would be right next your right foot again pull back carpet.
either place the switch will be a push/reset button.
I would make sure the Arrow on the fuel filter is going in the right direction. The arrow on the fuel filter should be going towards the engine away from the fuel tank,
If you are sure the fuel filter is on correctly. Check for leaks,
The next step would be to change out the fuel pump. The pump could be on it way out.
Low pressure or intermittently no pressure .
hi from uk location of fuel safety shut off valve/switch on uk r/h drive accents is on the engine bay bulkhead in front of drivers side it is a square box with red rubber top press button may be on opposite side on l/h drives ? if activated? just press button till click ? to reset these normally only cut off on impact ? to stop elec fuel pump continuing delivering if involved in an R.T.A fire prevention
