Kia Optima 2005. no low beams

Kia Optima 2005. Driving down the road. At the same time both low beams went out.
New fuse in panel fuse box. New fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. New light bulbs on both sides (no didn’t touch with fingers). Still, low beams don’t work. Note, both high beams work just fine. HELP!

Hello Jose it could be as simple as replacing the low beam head light. These light bulbs burn out.

Low beams stopped working but high beams and parking lights work

Check your fuse box for a blown fuse/ fuseable link found in the engine compartment. (Usually by the battery in a black box with a diagram on top of the box.)

I need the location of the adjustments for the lower beam on a 2007 Kia Optima. The manual shows one, and it IS labeled lower beam in the book, but that adjustment moves the high beam.

there is a bolt on the back of the housing, 8 or 10mm that adjusts the low beam up and down. I hated the aiming of the low beam headlights too

2001 kia optima headlights issues

Each light has its own fuse. Have you checked them? Maybe try switching two of them to see if they swap which one works... Once in a while a fuse that looks good has actually gone bad. Comment on this post if this doesn't help and we can move to the next step. Good luck!

May headlights went out on my 2005 kia optima

It could be a fuse bad connection to the lamps or the switch itself

Kia optima low beams

First verify that the switch is energizing the relay in both positions by turning the low beams on and then pulling up the relay--does it click? If not, replace the switch. If yes, next check for power on the red wire as it comes out of the column. Switch on, no power--replace the switch. If power, check for power at the head-low fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. No power--find break in wire. If power, check for power on the yellow/red wire as it comes out of the fuse box. No power--repair fuse box. Power--check for power at lamps--same wire. No power--repair yellow/red wire.
