Check the Start/Run relay under the hood in the relay box. You can test it by switching it with another relay with the same part number that serves no vital function, like a defrost or door lock relay. If it starts, you fixed it with a $6 part. If not, try turning the crankshaft manually with a large crescent wrench or socket, whichever allows easier access. If you have a long-ish piece of pipe lying around, you can use it for extra leverage. If the crankshaft will not turn manually, you may have a seized engine, not always a death sentence (but often). Unless you are a major gearhead, a seized engine should be taken to a Reputable shop for evaluation. If the engine turns, you're most likely still going to have to see a mechanic to trace down a possible electrical or computer problem. Anytime you take a car in for diagnosis, it is your duty to research the reputation of that shop or run the risk of paying for repairs that were not needed, or hours of parts-swapping until they find the problem.
