Which fuse protects the interior light Hyundai i10 1.2 comfort

Interior light doesn't work, I have checked the bulb which seems OK but the fuse panel baffles me. please which one is it?

  • Anonymous Jan 08, 2013

Firstly, thanks for all those trying to solve the problem. The fusebox under the dashboard has what looks like about two dozen fuses, and I am worried I might do harm if I trawl through the lot. I was hoping someone would say for example - third row down fourth on in! But it looks like I will just have to squat on the drive with a torch, and go through them all. Thanks again. RG

I found that while checking my fuses that i had pulled out what looked like a black plastic "fuse puller" that was actually some kind of jumper. I had accidentally re-installed it reversed. I reversed it back to its original position and all lights, clock, radio, etc.. work normal now.

Interior lights and truck lights not working. 2010 Kia Forte how do I know it's not the fuse?

If the interior lights and truck lights are not working in your 2010 Kia Forte, it's possible that the issue is with a blown fuse. Here are a few steps you can take to determine if the problem is with a fuse:
  1. Check the owner's manual: The owner's manual for your Kia Forte will have a diagram of the vehicle's fuse box and information on the location of the fuses for the interior and truck lights.
  2. Locate the fuse box: The fuse box for your Kia Forte is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side or in the engine compartment.
  3. Check the fuses: Once you have located the fuse box, check to see if any of the fuses for the interior and truck lights are blown. A blown fuse will have a melted or broken wire inside.
  4. Replace the fuse: If you find a blown fuse, you can replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage. You can find replacement fuses at most auto parts stores.
It's also important to keep in mind that a blown fuse is not the only reason why your lights are not working and that there may be other issues that are preventing the lights from working, such as a faulty headlight switch, bad wiring, or a malfunctioning light bulb. If you have checked the fuses and the lights are still not working, it's best to take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic for further diagnosis.
It's also important to note that some of these steps require a certain level of mechanical knowledge and experience. If you're not comfortable with checking these items, it's best to consult a professional mechanic.if i was able to help my cashapp $ralphpapi thank you have a blessing day

Find the interior fuse box on an Australian 1998 Hyundai Sonata? There should be a panel with a clip out door near/under the steering column put mine does not have one, it is solid plastic panels both

No promises but this is the only reference I could find for Hyundai where the fuse box was not behind a panel to the bottom side of steering wheel. It may inspire you to look elsewhere behind items. Good Luck.

"The interior fuse panel is located behind the coin holder pull out drawer, which is on the lower left side of the dashboard"

All interior dome light are out on 2004 quest, fuse checked are good

The interior light are controlled by the Body Control Module (BCM).
Check the fuse for the BCM. If the fuse is OK, then try to disconnect the car battery for about 10 minutes to reset the BCM. If resetting the BCM doesn't work you may have to replaced it.
