I have a 2005 chrysler 300 touring edition and while driving a red blinking lightning bolt symbol came on, om the left side of my dash. On the right side a yellow ESB symbol came on. Do you know what this means?

Electronic Throttle Control issue. The car isn't letting to go anywhere

Electronic Throttle Control Indicator

Electronic Throttle Control IndicatorThis is the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Indicator symbol. This light, a lightning bolt between reversed brackets or parenthesis, will illuminate if there is a problem in the electronic throttle control system. It may be seen in red or yellow/amber. As an electronic system, it can sometimes be reset by restarting the car, much or exactly like re-booting a computer.

HAVE 2007 Chrysler 300. Started
acting up when you press petal down car will only go about 20 mph and then seems as if cruise control is on . I do know that the red lightning bolt symbol is on which is what? Throttle control sensor?

the egr valve can be changed from below but the left bolt must be done blindly by feel, (use a small mirror,) undue the 2 bolts and pull it out from the intake, careful to make sure the gasket on the end of the tube comes with it;
the 2 bolts that hold the egr on also has a metal gasket;
the hardest thing is to disconnect the electrical plug from below that connects the egr valve, - do not do this if you have no mech experience;

try the little brake switch that is under the dash attached to the brake pedal lever. i hope this helps.
