This could be a fuel or an ignition problem. There are other possibilities too, but first check fuel and ignition. Have the fuel pressure tested for the fuel problem. If pressure is correct for your car, then the ignition system or circuit would need looked at. Sometimes a malfunctioning sensor the computer needs for spark control and timing will cause the computer to shut down the engine. A mechanic or tech would have to run some testing. You could check if your air filter is completely clogged with dirt or trash-that will starve an engine and kill it. When was your gas filter last changed?
