I have a 1994 Dodge Dakota with a 5.2L 318 Fuel Injected, i can hear the fuel pump come on in the tank when i turn the key on, but have no fuel pressure at fuel rail schraeder valve.
Have you checked the fuel filter for a clog. best way to check this is to remove the filter and try to blow through it. A good filter should be reletively easy to blow through.

check the fuel rail for fuel and pressure, also can you hear the fuel pump running with the ignition just on should start pump for up to 30 seconds and turn off until pressure is reached. should hum.
You are not in luck. For some unimaginable reason, Chrysler decided that inside of the fuel tank is where all serviceable components of the fuel system needed to live. So your fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel filter are all in once nice unit inside of the tank.
The fuel pump is located inside the gas tank. There is a fuel filter along the frame near the cab and box area. On top the back side of the engine is the fuel pressure sensor on injection rail assembly. There is a fuel pressure fitting to check pressure. I hope this helps.
Pump does nor know pressure pcm energizes asd. Relay turns on pump for ten seconds to ensure pressure at injectors is correct for initial cranking try cranking engine while hitting tank and see if it tries to start if it does the pump is worn out.
There is a fuel pump in the gas tank that pumps gas up to the fuel rail on the engine going through a fuel filter along the way(usually on the inside of the frame rail drivers side). The sending unit has more to do with telling your fuel guage what level of fuel is in the tank. You also have a fuel pressure regulator before it gets to the injectors that keep the required pressure in the fuel system to make the fuel injectors work optimally. Best thing you can do is get a fuel pressure guage and see what the pressure is up near the motor where there is a fitting on the fuel rail that looks like an overgrown tire air fitting.
First off, did you put a new pump in it? If so check to see if the you can hear the pump running when you turn the key on, if so check the pport at the fuel rail and see if there is pressure if so how much? Are the fuel lines connected properly at the tank? Is the electrical connector connected at the tank? Check fuse and relay for pump as well. Did the vehicle run before changing the tank?
on the 1994 Dodge Dakota, there is a combination fuel filter/pressure regulator that's pressed into the top of the fuel pump. You have to drop the tank to access it.
