1995 pontiac lt1 sluggish no power slight back fire

She was running great until 1st sign yesterday, driving early morning cold old she started bucking sputtered and died coasted off road took a few trys but she started chk eng. light came on went to work 12 hrs later loped her home, cleaned my afm, took her around the block today sounded like she wasn't getting100% of her fuel started bogging cleared up while clutch in i hit the throttle sounded ok made it 100 feet stalled tried to start she did horrably and had some light back fireing, had to tow her home, there was a little smoke coming from out from under the hood after the back fire, any ideas

Sounds like a fuel problem, may have water in the gas or needs a fuel filter , try a bottle of drygas before the filter

bad bearings on crank or worn oil pump. Pressure will be up when cold, but will drop when engine warms up. Check for knock in lower end. If so, bad crank bearings.

Starts ok but when put in drive it is sluggish and little power until speed increases, then drives at normal pace - but still slightly sluggish. Changed out Throddle Position Sensor, Air Control Valve...

try adding some lucas fuel treatment to your gas tank to clean those fuel injectors. sounds like you've done everything else i would suggest. hope this helps!!!

this is a battry problem you can charge the battery long a nuff to start after motor is running but you have a dead seal i would recommend wall mart best price and warrenty if you replace the battery with there 2 yr warrenty with-in the 2 yrs you will never hafe to but a nother battery for the life of the vehicle////// if this is not your problem i would say your coil pack is cracked

Speedometer/Transmission problem when car is cold

I would take this car and get the transmission fluid and filter changed ASAP. Acting sluggish when cold is a sign of a dirty transmission filter.
