The brake light actual sitch is down by pedal, but if you dont have any brake lights at all it is most likely the relay, this is located behind ashtray and fuse box cover, it is big red relay, marked with letter A. change it.

Backlights our sticking

Get on the floor on the driver side with a flashlight. Behind the brake pedal is a bracket and the brake swicth. If the rubber stopper is gone, worn down or broken, replace it or fill the gap with epoxy glue.

Once repaired/replaced check that when you press the brake, the lights come on and when you release it the lights go off. You ll need a helper for this.

Check the upper brake pedal bracket for play. If it moves too much, take it apart, clean it up and grease it to make sure it doesnt cause the brake swicth to stay pressed.

Hope this helps, please vote :)
