I have the radio code for my Honda Civic. I just need the instructions on how to input the code. As of now, the radio reads erre. How do I clear the error message so I can input the code? I also, need instructions on entering the code.
Ok your radio displays ERR , OK 3 options let it sit for an hour turned on , to reture to CODE display , or pull the radio fuse out for a minute and put it back in , returning to the CODE display , or disconnect the battery for a minute , returning to the CODE display . you got the ERR display because the code was wrong or not entered correctly , make your choice of getting the radio back to the CODE display by 1 of those 3 choices , while the radio displays CODE , use the preset buttons , if the first number of your code is 4 , then press the #1 preset button 4 time , when the first number has been input , put the 2nd number in by pressing the #2 prest button , if 2nd number of code is 8 , press the # 2 preset button 8 times till the # 8 is displayed , and so on . you see where this is giong ? when you have entered all the numbers correctly you will have you radio back . when you say you have the radio code , good luck ! were rooting for ya .

This is incorrect and doesn't work for the radio code input. The radio code is 5 digits long and none of the 5 digits is higher than the number 6.
To set the code you enter each digit of the code by using the corresponding radio station preset numbers.
i.e. if the Code is 16325 then press the corresponding radio preset buttons 1-6-3-2-5.
I know this as I drive a Honda Civic and the battery was just changed, necessitating re-entering the radio code. This worked perfectly.

This is for an older model, but it might work: Using the station reset selector buttons, enter the five-digit code. If you make a mistake when entering the code, continue the five digit sequence anyway - the radio will "beep" after the five digits are entered. You have 3 shots to enter the correct code. If the correct code isn't entered in 3 tries you'll have to wait 1 hour, WITH THE RADIO ON, before you can enter the code again. Once the code has been entered correctly, it should disappear from the display and the radio should play. I really hope that this older info will work on yours. If not, my sincerest apologies. Good luck and best wishes.
