2004 monte carlo leaking water into the interior

It only happens when it rains but it doesnt happen everytime it rains its very random only when it rains. But water will be standing in my passenger side and only the passenger side, and one day i was in my car and i noticed a drip from the dash on the passenger side hit the floor and it was raining outside going down the road, ive had it checked to see if i had a leak anywhere in my coolant system or heater core and it was all good, I also have a friend with a 2004 impala ss and it does the same thing as mine, so it just isnt my car im wondering if its a flaw with GM on these cars

Did this just recently start doing this, or has it done it since new?

The drip you seen, was from under the dash area, by where your feet would be ?

Have someone remove cowl or cover to access cabin air filter box area, and clean it out good. Build up of leaves & other debris has been known to cause leaks inside because of drainage plugged.

Where is the sunroof drain located on 2002 monte carlo ss and how do i unclog it?

Water leaks are fun to trace out. the drain holes and tubes can be seen with roof open and can be unplugged with compressed air . but usually the headliner is soaked and leaks on to seats the windshield will leak on to passenger floor. remove glove box and check for wetness along "A" pillar.

My 2006 Monte Carlo's low oil pressure turn engine off indicator comes on, on the dash. All apears normal. Happens only once and a while

mine's been doing this too. I pulled into a dealer when this happened and he was nice enough to check things out under hood a bit. Confirmed what I noticed...which was that there was no leaking oil and neither of us noticed any noises or unusual engine behavior. So he said he felt it is oil pressure sensor. Gonna check into one today.

I have a 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo SS. Everytime it rains I get standing water on the passenger side floor. I have changed the cabin air filter and it still is happening. Getting worse with every rain

Hi, very likely you have a leak from the wind shield and these can be proven or disproved by running tap water on the passenger side of the windshield. If the windshield is leaking a technician should be able to reseal the strip around the windshield or replace the windshield if its broken. Thank you for using fixya!

2004 monte carlo. Turn signals dont work. The stalk still works with other functions, such as wiper, brights. The fuse is fine. Could it be a bad relay? When u push the stalk up or down nothing happens on...

try pressing the hazards on and off if they still don,t work replace the flasher unit. it is built into the hazard switch( all one unit ) change this and all will be good.

Water getting in on right and left side of car 2001 monte Carlo

Need more info as to where? In the front could be front screen sealant needs sorting, rust areas around the screen can also cause leaks. Rubber perished if your model has rubber surrounds.

Leack proplem

is it water or coolant? if it's just rain water, open passenger door and check around door frame for any holes that the rubber seals should be in are unplugged. if so just plugg them back in. also open hood and check area right below windshield, there should be a rubber strip the lenth of the window, make sure it's press firmly down. look down further to see if any holes where rain can get in, if so plug them up. if it's coolant, it's probably a heater hose . good luck
