Checked fuses they are good but did just install an after market radio
I have right now the same problem. I just pulled the fancy/shmancy radio head out of my (Honda) 1992 Acura Integra and the whole dash is now a mess. It had been professionally installed. The dome light now doesn't work, the "door open" warning lights stay on, the clock is messed up, etc.
I installed the fancy head in another car, in a 1992 Honda Civic. That works perfectly. Sounds like you need to find a professional installer to re-do your new head.
I think the dash lights and the taillights are on the same circuit/fuse.

Check the fuses...One of my buddies car had the same problem tail and dash light wasnt working so i checked the fuses 1 of it was gone
SOURCE: 1994 Honda Accord radio does not accept code written on card.
You may need to leave radio on for an hour before trying to enter code again. Radio needs to reset after three failed attempts
SOURCE: 95 Honda Accord, fuse keeps blowing and no dash lights
sounds like a short
look at wires under dash
then look at te wires coming through the fire wall
check lighter too it might have a coin stuck in it as it will cause a short too

Did you fix this? I have the same issue....honda states it is a controller unit (after the fuse box....before the lights) If there was a short, there is NO protection!! An obvious design flaw.....$350 part + labor. Let me know how you resolved your issue? EdB
