The manual says to lift the carpet, but that isn't enough information.
Open the rear doors Follow the carpet to the bottom of the rear seats. You will see staples along the carpet. (This is to adhere Velcro to the carpet.) Separate at that seam. Reach in and pull the carpet forward. The Fuse boxes are long narrow black boxes. (its tight and you have to use some force to pull the carpet back. Fuse boxes are located on both the driver side and passenger side. Good luck!
This is a good description but I think missing a couple things. I started by first pulling up the plastic door threshold. I did it by hand but you could use a flat piece of plastic to lever it up. The part of the threshold toward the front of the door opening that is continuous up the door post needs to be loosened at the front edge of the removed threshold but not removed. Also take off the plastic cover just under the far left side of the seat. It just popps off and take note of it's orientation for replacement later. When you pull back the velcro connection behind the staples directly under the seat it folds up and the carpet you want to pull forward is exposed but really tightl against the back. So begin pulling the carpet forward toward the outside of the car being careful to keep the velcro from reattaching. Pull hard and you will expose the plastic fuse box. Leave the carpet on the drivetrain hump end pretty much in place. The fusebox cover comes off vertically by pressing on the latches at the narrow ends. There is a fuse diagram in the owner's manual although you'll need a magnifying glass to read the ledgend.
