SOURCE: how do I bleed hydraulic clutch in 1991 jeep

There is a bleeder on the drivers side of the transmission follow the tube from the clutch master cylinder if you cannot find it. Pump the clutch up and hold it down then open the bleeder repeat till air is gone. May have to bleed again after driving a bit. If you want to bleed the clutch master cylinder run a tube from where the line goes into the cylinder and take the cap off and run the tube into the fluid (make sure its in the fluid) then pump the clutch slowly until no air bubbles. I just replaced my clutch master cylinder this is where the information comes from hope it helps you out!

SOURCE: 1991 jeep wrangler clutch

U have what is called a hydraulic clutch, one of the hydraulic cylinders hs failed, there is a master and a slave cylinder. The most likely and most common cylinder to fail is the slave cylinder, this requires the transmission to be pulled out to replace it. the art is around $125.00, while the trans is out u might as well replace the clutch, the labor is about the same. Here is a picture of the part, let me know if u can see it.

SOURCE: 1991 jeep wrangler: alternator overcharging

It sounds as the voltage regulator which is built into the back of the alternator has stuck. Occaisionally this even happens on new ones. Would suggest taking the alternator back as it shoud be under warranty.

Where do you bleed the clutch at on a 1997 jeep wrangler what is the location of it

This all depends if this is a hydraulic clutch or if its cable operated, you can only bleed hydraulic clutches, to bleed it you would bleed at the ******, you will see the bleeder screw on the slave cylinder that operates the clutch fork.

What fluid goes in the hydraulic release bearing on a 1990 jeep

If you mean the clutch throw out bearing??? No fluid goes into it, as it is sealed with grease packing inside. You may have a hydraulic clutch that actuates it, and that takes brake fluid. On the resevoir cap lists what kind. (DOT 3 or 4) This system is like a minature brake system, closed.

1989 jeep wrangler cluch pedle goes to floor

These jeeps have an hydraulic system with a master cylinder up top and a hydraulic line leading down to a slave cylinder. You likely have a leak somewhere and your hydraulic fluid is gone.

I have a 1995 jeep wrangler reo grande.does it have a hydraulic clutch and if it does where do i check the fluid

Yes...it has a hydraulic clutch. The clutch master cylinder should be next to the brake master towards the fender. If low, it has a leak somewhere that you need to find and fix.

!991 Jeep Wrangler clutch pedal loses pressure. I have to pump it to get enough pressure to shift. I keep it full of brake fluid. I can see no leaks. Thanks for any help.

leaky slave or master cylinder - if you have someone listen to the slave cylinder while you press the pedal is should "squelch" if there is air in there, if the slave cylinder doesn't make a squelching sound then the master cylinder or a hydraulic line between the two cylinders is leaking - slave cylinder isn't very expensive but the master cylinder can be rather pricey. and any good parts shop or motor-factor can source or make-up a new hydraulic line if it is the line itself that is leaking.

1991 jeep wrangler not shifting into gear could this be clutch

I would first bleed the tranny lines, if that doesnt work then your tranny is out and need to get it replaced. FYI with Jeep Wranglers, It is better to get a new transmission then to rebuild them
