My 2003 Cadillac Deville won't start .I replaced thebatry and starter. I did notice sparks coming from the negatve cabe when connecting it to the battery. Help!!!!
Try cleaning the battery posts with a solution of salt and water. This tends to take away all of the acid that may have formed on the battery and/or the posts. Or because you seen sparks from the negative cable, you may need to replace the cables

If your fans are not coming on then your engine is not receiving the signal that it is overheating. This can be caused by bad fans (unlikely they are both out) a bad relay, or coolant temperature sensor. I would start by checking or replacing the temperature sensor as it can become corroded which is what the PCM uses to turn the fans on. Many vehicles use two sensors, one for the gauge and the other for the ECU, make sure you check/replace the right one. It should be a cheaper part and if you are unsure then match the new one with its location; it should be on the intake manifold or near it, generally with one or two wires. I think you will find your problem as they are common failed parts.

IF when you purchased your car you didn't set your own personal code you will have to take this to your local GM dealer and they can pull the code that is set at the factory and unlock your radio.THe proceedure for setting your own code then unlocking radio is in your owners manual.The dealership I worked for did this for free.
