How do I get into the dash to change the lights in an 1987 cutlass supreme? There are 4 bolts on the underside of the dash pad, but I don't know how to remove it once these small bolts (screws) are removed.
The other screws are behind the woodgrain panels on either side of the speedometer cluster. The panels are held in place with metal clips and are difficult to pry loose. I did it by using a small plastic wedge that I found in a junk pile and once I had a place to start, I worked each corner of both panels until pried out. These panels could break, so go slow and be patient.
