I can't find the abs compueter in my 1998 VR6 Golf.

I've looked under the front seats, under the back seat, in the dash (couldn't see behine the middle vent section though), in the area where the windscreen motor is (there is one computer there but I think it is the engine mangement system), near the cruise control computer. Plese help me! Thanks, Trevor

I need to know where the computer of a 2001 s40 Volvo is located

Most cars have several computers. For ABS brakes and traction control, it's usually in the engine compartment. For other functions, could be engine compartment, trunk, under a front seat, under the dash, in a kick panel next to the driver or passenger seats, etc. Also look under the rear seat, especially if the battery is located there.

How to remove a front seat on a 1998 cutless

Most seats are attached to the floor by bolts.
- Slide seat all the way forward and remove rear bolts
- Slide seat all the way back and remove the front bolts.
- Unplug any wires.
- Remove seat.
This process will involve looking under the seat so a kneepad and flashlight may make it easier.

SRS Light on Dash Illuminated

Sounds like either you did not connect the seat belt restraint wiring when the seats where put back in. This is a common problem. You will need to look under the seat and make sure that there are no loose wiring at all. The SRS is for the seatbelts.
