Where is the bcm on 1991 lexus LS400. I changed the alternator in the car which a spark. I think I blew some some type of a fuse. I have now power on my dashboard, radio, heating/ac controls back lights and wipers windows. What could I have blown so I can fix the problem? Is there a body control module fuse, and where is it located.
Probably time for a new battery.

slide the lower part of shifter handle down and you will find two screws, but there is 2 wires coming in from center console for overdrive button.you have to remove the center console cover and remove the 2 wires from connector and then pull up threw handle.when you go back together you will have to guide them back threw the handle.

there are a few diodes in the electrical system that have been blown. Some are in the dash and some are in the different control modules in the car. Your insurance should pay for this problem.

Not too bad. Not much room, just enough to drop the starter. It is probably easier to go up through exhaust if you can get your exhaust shield off the manifold .

there located on top of engine under the cover thats says V8 FOUR CAM 32, 4 S.P. on each side,remove both covers and its easy access after that.
