2004 Chevy Tahoe seat controls not working properly

The driver side seat adjutsment, specifically the control for the bottom portion of the seat, seems to be working in reverse. When I pull up on the lever the seat tilts down, and when I push down on the lever... the seat comes up. The up and down movements are in short bursts, I have to release the lever and reengage the switch in order to keep moving the seat, it will not continue to move otherwise. The controls have worked well since I have owned the vehicle. The forward/back and lumbar functions still work.

U most certainly have a defective switch, really nothing else can account for this problem.

2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ drivers seat power, both front seats have no heat.

Question edited for some clarity, but unable to understand "previous owner had breath something on vehicle State required".

Question moved from Spanish Car company 'Seat', pronounced 'See-at'.

Here is your fuse box diagram, but you are likely to need an auto-electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to work out where the heater communication problem is. The Body Control Module does your heating.

2004 Chevy Tahoe: I changed A/C blend door actuator on passenger side and it's still blowing heat on my driver side?

Does the vehicle have dual zone climate control, where the driver side and passenger side have different control? Sounds like a blend door issue on the driver side. Why did you replace the passenger side, was it blowing hot too when AC was on?

Driver power seat not working correctly . 1997 Chevy Tahoe. Driver seat will go up and down and starts to go back but stops and doesn't go forward make a zzzzzzzzzzznoise. Worked fine yesterday today it...

this can be a few things, you may have a bad motor, or a broken cable to motor or seat track and last maybe a broken track, the best way to diagnose would be to remove the seat flip it over while still conected, meaning; remove the bolts at the bottom of the seat then push seat back toward the rear seat this way you can see the track, now move the controls as you watch the track,it may go sideways instead of straight back or foward this will show you what side is not working from there you can see if its a cable broken or track or motor not turning .

2004 chevy tahoe, dual climate control, blowing different temps

Its more then likely the temp door broken or temp door motor broken/stuck. There is 2-3 of these motors under the dash on the side of the evap/heater core box. Some require extensive labor to replace, good luck

2003 chevy tahoe 2nd row seating

lower the bottom portion, there will be two black cables. follow them toward the back of the seat, past a black round plate, where they become top and bottom cables. Push down toward the floor board on the bottom cable (my bottom cable is no longer black coated but rather a bare feeling cable wire). When pushing down on the bottom cable, pull the seat forward. As the seat does come forward the headrest will fold back at the same time. Not an easy find for me either, they should just make a release lever, but oh well..... I Hope this helps. Just keep playing around with those two cables until it finally does release.
