Sounds like you have water in the fuel, put in a some dry gas and let it sit over night then drive it the next day to see if it improves

SOURCE: 2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport V6 cuts oof

There are 3 major issues with the V6 Rodeo. The intake manifold gaskets leak. The drive by wire sensor on the gas pedal goes bad and makes it stall or run at just idle (light will come on). And your problem is the wiring harness to the motor. Get under while it is running (best to do on lift) grab the harness and shake it and pull it. Engine will probably die. Sometimes taking plug apart and using electrical contact cleaner on it will work, sometimes a stick of dynamite will cure all the issues with these. My son was almost killed three times in his 2001.

SOURCE: engine light was on and engine idles rough.

these O2 sensors are cat convertor check sensors. id be checking cat convertors and hopefully you should try replacing if not all ready is the front bank 2, O2 sensor
if you have scanner can you see fuel trims in data display to confirm high fuel trim only on bank 2 either +-5 or more indicates problem and if bank 2 sensor 2 has fixed high 700mv reading cat no good(warm idling)

SOURCE: 991 Isuzu 2.6l petrol runninf problem!

I realise you have probably solved this problem by now so sorry for the late news mate . Had a similar prob and it turned out to be an alternator malfunction . I replace the brushes and off she went . These things send voltage from the alt . to a fuel pump relay or whatever so the pump wont run if the eng isn't (or the alt isn't outputting any voltage.) . Hope you already had it sorted . But I hope this helps if not . Cheers Simon .

SOURCE: 1991 Isuzu Trooper. Recently my truck simply

Disconnect the fuel line at the fuel filter. Turn the car on for the pump to be on. If you are getting gas pumped out, then your pump is good. If not there's most likely your problem. Then try the line at the engine. Disconnect and see if the gas is making it that far. Your should also be able to hear the pump come on if you open the gas cap and listen while someone turns the key to the on position.

What causes bad gas mileage stalling at high speeds and rain idiling rough engine knocking 2003 Isuzu Rodeo

Check the coils, there may be a bad coil. That lets moisture in it, and causes the engine to mis fire. God-Bless! Its worth a try!

I have a 1999 isuzu rodeo and the check engine light came on and it was stalling and I had autozone to put a reader on it and it was camshaft sensor and when I got home I jingled the wire and it started...

If the the camshaft sensor has indeed failed, the vehicle will not run, it needs this input for engine timing and cranking idling rpm, ect. If jiggling the wire got it to run momentarily, I would recommend replacing the camshaft sensor first, before buying an expensive p.c.m. As for the fuel gauge, there may be a bad sender in the tank, or faulty gauge. I hope this helps.

2000 isuzu 3.2 rodeo

Here is the most common cause of surges and stalls and low idle rough idle, it is the idle speed control air-bypass valve and throttle valve (IAC for short), they get full of gunk over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

Had same problem: cutting out at low rpm, jerking, a huge clunk or shudder at higher speed (like transmission was going out), and rough idle. All these symptoms were intermittent.

CHECK THE FUEL FILTER!! Changed the fuel filter and thing runs fine!!

PS mine 2003 expedition has 105k
