No dash lights and tail lights

Ok first your tail lighs work of a fues with a test light you can buy cheap at dollar store test all the fuese on the fuese box 1 under the hood the other under the dash under the steering wheel or on the side of the dash board if all fuese r good at night with the lights on check if you have dash light on your instrument panel if no light you have a burn fuse also the tail light work of your headlight switch the only way to check if it's your switch is to remove it n bypass with one wire you'll have a big red wire the will be your 12 volts stick it on that the the other side stick it on the yellow or brown wire if your tail light work u have a bad headlight switch but don't touch any black wire those r growing you'll just burn the fuse those r easy to replace good luck hope I was helpful

CHECK FUSES TAIL LIGHTS MIGHT HAVE LOOSE WIRR

If all bulbs are not lit check the tail lights if they are out as well check the fuse marked "tail" the dash illumination and tail lights are on this same fuse.

You can check if the head of the light is worked well , and the wire is well connected.

1- faulty light switch
2- faulty shut-off timer
3- faulty ignition switch

My guess would be one of the main fuses for the headlight switch, or the headlight switch itself.

check for a defective tail light,or rear socket light,circuit wiring touching each other at trailer plug if equip.usually damaged wiring are at rear of truck,unless wiring mod.were done under dash!

Check and see if you have trailer wiring on your truck. If so you do it may have a wire that is rubbed though the isulation and grounding on the body and shorting the circuit blowing the fuse. High resistance in a circuit is what blows fuses.

try a stronger fuse
