My nav unit wont turn on. i think its the denso head unit, the dvd rom. the unit wont eject or accept a disc. this is causing my whole nav system not to work, blank nav screen so i cant control anything in my car (ac temp, radio ect...),. MY Question: could it be the power supply to the denso dvd head unit? If so where is the power unit? Is there a fuse anywhere that could be blown? PLEASE HELP
I had the same problem, and then I figured it out. I unhooked the dvd rom opened up the unit and noticed there were resistors on the board which were burned out and the inside of the housing showed slight signs of oxidation. I came to the conclusion that since the unit was mounted in the trunk the unit malfunctioned from water intrusion or moisture, which shorted out the board. Now I'm searching the web to see if I can find a Denso repair facility.
