No fuses are burnt out in either the fuse box under the hood or under the dash on driver's side. having the actual blower rebuilt, thank goodness for that. no fuse anywhere...? so am going to run wire from battery to fan blower motor when fixed. owner's manual = nothing ... thanks for any advice in advance -kitty from the oregon coast
Sounds like your heater/blower resistor... located under glove box.
Found this wiring diagram. Don't know if it is accurate? My wiring diagrams on your model year isn't very good. Voltage to blower motor goes hot with key on and is fused. The control for blower motor is on the ground circuit, bottom wire at blower motor.

yes there is a fuse
what kind of nest? did something chew through a wire?
could be under dash or the fuse box under the hood if you still have it check the owners manual in the glove box dont jump steps and just replace the fan could be fruitless

I have not worked on your model of car, sorry. However there should be a fuse and a relay to deliver the power to the motor. Check that the motor is working by puting a live feed to the live side of the motor. If the motor works, trace the wiring back to the next connection and do a connectivaty test with your multi meter, keep tracing the wiring from connection to connection until you find the fault. However if the motor fails to work , then the motor is at fault. If you got yourself a workshop manual from Autodata or Haynes Manuals you will find that the wiring loom has easy to follow diagrams and will save you a lot of time.
