I broke the mirror cover on my Hyundai Sonata 06 drivers side.

The mirror is totally fine and the motor still works. I happened to bump my mirror with a large box while I was outside and the cover completly snapped off. Can I replace and fix this myself? If so, what's the best way?

There are no pieces missing, but the cover is in two pieces and the largest piece is cracked.

Dude i would just replace the hole mirror it is only like 3 bolts it is not hard and it will look alot better than a fiberglass repair plus you can get a used mirror from a junkyard for 35 to 40 bills

The mirror is easy to remove and replace but you will need a new mirror and have it painted to match. You can buy a left anr right folding merror set already painted from Korian Auto Parts for about $190. I just installed the power folding version on my 2006 Sonata.

How do you fix/reconnect a broken side view mirror on a Hyundai Sonata?

You'll have to buy a new one, as side mirrors cannot be repaired. Google "2009 sonata mirror" and find a good price online. Make sure to buy the correct side--RH is passenger side, LH is driver's side. Cost is about $65. If your mirrors are painted, you will also need to have it painted, as they only come in black.

sorry :o(

I have a 2004 Sonta and I need to know where the fuses are for my side mirrors what code do they use please help

The location is on the drivers side under the kick panel covering the steering wheel base. you will have to get the owners manual out to verify which fuse or pull the fuse out and look in the middle to see if its broke or not , do not replace it with a higher rated fuse. follow manufactures specification. see diagram below not the best but its all i have..

Sun visor on driver's side won't stay up or all the way down. 2006 Sonata I have the same problem with my 2007 Sonata driver side sun visor broke and will not stay up but keeps droping down in my view....

I have a 2007 Sonata and the driver's side sun visor broke. I called the dealership where I purchased the car, and was told that they only cover it for 5 years/60,000 miles. So if your's is broken, get it in there before the warranty expires. Otherwise the cost is around $80 for the visor unit.

Sun visor on driver's side won't stay up or all the way down. 2006 Sonata

This works on any visor. Obtain a small clamp as used in wiring harnesses. On the shaft end of the visor, 1/2 inch from the end, install the clamp around the visor and the shaft. Drill a hole through the visor for the clamp screw and tighten as needed. I might be a redneck, but it works!!
