I have a 2000 Buick Regal. The front driver side window has been rolling down instantly when I start my car. Now, I turned my car off and locked it and realized I left the lights on. I went to turn off the lights and my car wont unlock. I've tried the key to unlock both doors and my remote key fob wont work at all. I've also replaced the battery in the key fob and it still wont unlock. Any suggestions? Is this an electrical problem and do I need to get it towed?

start with the basics... check the bulbs... then the fuses.... after that use a multimeter to see if power is going to the lights that are not working.... bad grounds will cause the lights to be dim or not work.

The only way to really see the problem is by removing the door trim panel. This will allow you to see if is the actuator is moving, and how far, along with noting any interference of lock linkage movement. Hope this helps.

If you turn your key forward (And make sure the fuel pump kicks on) Cross the starter terminals with a screwdriver. If the car starts like this you have a bad ignition. You can replace the cylinder or the whole column.

THE PROBLEM SOUNDS LIKE LOOSE WIRING CONECTIONS IN THE DRIVERS DOOR , BEST THING TO DO IS HAVE A LOOK OPEN UP DOOR PANEL AND CHECK ALL CONECTIONS, GOOD LUCK
