Like I said, I can get to the 'passenger' side low-beam easily. But with the 'drivers' side, there seems to be a "jug" which doesn't allow me to get to the bulb. I believe this is the radiator reserve jug, I just don't know how to remove it, and I don't want to mess anything up. Please give me a pretty detailed course-of-action if you could. One headlight shouldn't be this difficult to replace. Thank You.
Hi Mike. There are a number of How to videos on YouTube that deal with your problem. You should be able to find a clip that will show you how to do it. Type "Remove 2002 Honda accord headlight bulb", in the search bar. Different wordings in your search will take you to specific videos, such as: ...remove radiator, ...remove reservoir, ...remove headlight assembly, etc. If you spend a little time doing this, I'm confident you'll find a video of a guy doing exactly what you need done. As for the reservoir jug, some of them just pull straight up without any bolts, while others have a couple 10 mm bolts. You may even be able to do this without taking out the reservoir.
Good luck
SOURCE: How to change headlight bulb, '06 Honda Accord drivers side?
remove a few of the clips on the inner fender liner, depending on which bulb u are replaceing(left or right?) turn the wheels in either direction and u will be able to slide ur hand or arm between the liner and fender to gain access to the bulbs and connectors..do not remove the battery .
SOURCE: 2000 honda civic vp keeps blowing low beam fuses left and right.
Fuses nearly always blow because of a bad earth. The switch only needs to short for a moment and the fuse will blow.
See if you can find a replcement swtich from a local breaker's yard or ebay and go on from there.
