I have a 2011 Chrysler minivan. When I parked the horn went off for about a minute until I was able to shut it off playing with the panick button. Since then, the horn does not work and all other functions seem ok and no airbag lights or anything. I made an appointment to bringit back to the dealer and they prefaced the conversation with " If it's a Squirrel nest or Rats eating the wire, they are not responsible". I laughed knowing thats not the case and I have full warranty. I just don't want them pulling a fast one on me. I had the fuses checked by my mechanic and said they were ok, but suggested I bring it back to dealer which I am. Do you suppose it could be a fuse not seen, a relay, or the clockspring?

DAIMLERCHRYSLER WILL ALSO REIMBURSE OWNERS WHO HAVE PAID TO HAVE THE CLOCKSPRING REPLACED ON THEIR VEHICLES. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 12, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT DAIMLERCHRYSLER AT 1-800-853-1403. A malfunctioning clockspring can also effect your cruise control,radio, wipers, and your horn relay. This can also happen one at a time til none of these are working.The solotion is to get the clockspring replaced . I DO NOT suggest you doing this on your own!

These are spark plugs you are talking about right? Glow plugs are in diesels. If it is no voltage to spark plugs, do a test on your plug wires.

you need to look at wiring diagram and find point where power top horn and power seat have common feed, seems likely that its one wire, power or ground, that has an intermittent connection. standard practice is to cut a new piece of wire, gotta go buy some, same length or little longer, same gauge as piece that is suspect then strip insulation from wire that you think might be bad and overlay new piece. don't cut the old wire till you know it is bad.

This is definitely an issue with your clockspring. The clockspring is a device in the steering column that provides electrical contacts for horn, cruise and airbag. The good news for you is this part is covered under a Chrysler warrantee / recall.
