I have tried an impact gun, a hammer to the breaker bar, and a snipe on the breaker bar. That just turns the engine. Is there anything special about the nut besides being left handed? Is there possibly a pin through the threads? Is it actually a nut or is it a bolt?
It's a bolt, and if left hand threads, it will be the first time I have heard of such. No pin would be through the threads. Try the breaker bar or impact gun the other way. If engine tries to turn, pull the starter and wedge a block of wood against the ring gear teeth on the flywheel.
Don't know about sables, but thought all crank bolts were regular threads.

the bolt in the center on the damper is contra thread. to get it off use an impact (electric or air powered). and for the damper it is shot. you will have to replace it with a new or used one from a junk yard.

It is a right hand thread and you usually need an impact gun. Take the fan out of the way, to give you more room, I have found that helps.
SOURCE: HOW TO REMOVE BOLT FROM PULLY ON CRANK PULLY
They are usually in there pretty tight. If drivable, you can have someone loosen it up with a shop air gun.
Thread is not reverse.
There is a second way to remove it...Use a solid 1/2" breaker bar with the correct size impact socket. You need to support it and brace it against the floor. Then "bump" the engine over Don't crank, just bump. The engine crank will unscrew itself from the bolt. Be careful doing this if socket and bar get loose they can damage you and stuff around the area where you're working. I use a pipe driven into the ground with a pair of vise grips attached to the breaker bar to keep it at the right height. (bar goes inside the end of the pipe)

"Heat" and air impact is the trick. Get it as hot as you can and hit it with air impact. Be careful not to burn yourself!
I hope this helps you, and I wish you luck with your repair.

It states clockwise to loosen
IDK, maybe it is left hand thread. Hold a wedge or prybar at the ring gear, and give it ****.
