SOURCE: Engine light and ABS traction control light remain

The ABS sensor is a speed sensor also for Traction Control. This is why both lights are on , One of your front ABS sensors are bad or disconnected, or has a pinched wire.

Saturn vue 2004 intermittent abs and traction control comes on and after restarting shuts off?

Has this happened after you replaced the sensors for the abs. if so they have to be set at a gap close to the rotor sensor to read correctly. The other thing maybe if the new sensors area slightly different to the original ones the abs might be having trouble identifying them.
The last one maybe, could the new brake pads be causing flexing or pushing against something resulting in this intermittent problem.

Abs light, traction control light

after replacing pads and shoes, refill brake fluid level,,,,,and,,,pull the rubber pad on the inside of filler cap to its full expanded state,,,,, then put on brake cap... it turns off abs, traction control, because it keeps the fluid from sloshing .

1999 Olds Silhouette -- Problem - ABS & Brake Traction light "coming on" on the instrament panel. Brake fluid level "full". Brake pads & shoes "new". No brake fluid is getting to the REAR brakes....

The ABS light is on because there is a fault in the abs system, The traction control uses the abs system so it will also not work if the abs is not working. You'll need to scan the ABS module to see what code is stored in its memory. Once you have the code you'll have a better idea of what needs to be repaired.

ABS and Traction Control Light On

Because the brakes were changed, either one of the sensors were broken when removing brakes or it has set a code. Go to your local autoparts store and have them reset the code. See if it comes back on. If it does you will need to look at the ABS sensors on each wheel and replace if damaged

Caliper crunch

Make sure the pads are installed correctly. There is an inner and an outer. make sure the hardware is lubricated with some brake lube. For the ABS/Traction lights, you will need a scan tool to find out what is going on.
