SOURCE: LOCATION OF LIGHTER FUSE FOR 1996 JEEP GRAND

If you have the owner's manual look up fuses in the index, good illustration. If you don't, I do. It shows a relay and a 15 amp fuse. Look at the passenger kick panel, pull the cover, and it is #2 fuse (second from the top on the left) The see the relay you may have to pull the panel (two screws and a clip) the relay is the third cavity down, third row from the firewal side.
Let me know if this works for you?

As I said in your last question, there are very few reasons you need to go near it. A good auto electrician with a professional grade scan tool computer can diagnose the ECM for faults in about 20 to 30 minutes. It is not a job for 'let's try changing this'. If it is bad, a new one needs a tech to install as it has to be programmed with the VIN Number and mileage and set up.

Which fuse in the fuse box is the one to replace for the cigarette lighter in a 2003 jeep grand cherokee laredo

  • The fuse for the cigarette lighter is located in the Power Distribution Center fuse box under the hood. This will be a 15Amp blue fuse. Now I believe it is the fuse in spot F-18 but if you look under the lid for this box there will be a legend (diagram) of each fuse in that box.

  • Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa.
