2001 BMW 330i..Fan for AC/vent not working?

My daughter has a 330i, her AC or vent fan quit working, the display shows it working when pushing the button but no air flow. Could this be as simple as a fuse change? I've had a similar problem with my BMW as well, I had to remove the fuse to keep the blower resistor from running nonstop until it would run the battery dead overnight. Now I cant get any air/heat from any vents, replaced the fuses, now what?

It's either a fuse or it's a bad blower motor, it could be a bad blower motor resistor but usually you'll get either high or low only, so if you have nothing on any speed, high low etc, and all the fuses are ok chances are it's your blower motor.

I have a 2001 BMW 330I. When I use the automatic function of the climate control it blow hot and cold air. The AC button is on and the automatic button is selected and the thumbwheel of the center air vent...

First suggestion, ensure the AC is properly charged... the AC system is very picky... so check belts pulleys and AC charge first... if the AC is healthy and this issue is still present... you have two possible solutions...1. heater control box in dash behind the radio...Expensive part $450+ and lots of labor to pull dash apart... or 2. the heater control valve in the engine bay... $130 part you can do IF you take your time

I have a 2001 BMW 330I. My problem is with the heat blower. It works on and off. It goes on for a while then turns off by itself. Then out of nowhere, it goes on again! And so on... What is the solution,...

If the blower is the one cutting off iether at AC/heater mode, it could be a faulty fan resistor. To replace it, you have to take off RH side front kick panel, foot air vent and use torx bit.

2001 BMW 330ci Blower Fan quit working

sounds like the resister for the fan is failing. it is located under the dash on the duct work for the blower (fan). you will see two wires going to it. unscrew the bolts or screws that hold it in and replace it with a new one. it should work fine after that.

Blower quite working in my 330i 2001 BMW

the final stage resistor on all BMW blower motors controls everything (power and grond ) 99% of blower motor issues is the resistor. not to hard to install either.
