Go to the dealer with your registration and your id and ask them to give it to you. There shouldn't be any problems.

Vibration nearly ALWAYS comes from tire balance.
Have your tires rotated and balanced and see if that doesn't get ya smoothed out. :-)

87 cutlass no reverse

foward and no reverse. In order for the reverse to happen there is a transmission brake assemble, the transmission band holds the brake assembly thus allowing fluid to be driven according to gear selection, when no reverse happens there is a malfunction of mechanical or hydraulic part, Depending on the condition you can adjust the kick down or adjust the band. A general procedure for automatic transmission band adjustment involves tightening the band adjusting screw to a given torque sequence, back off the adjusting screw from turning while torque-tightening the adjustment screw about a 1/4 turn and lock down the lock nut,and recheck to see if reverse has been restored.

1996 jeep grand cherokee limited the thing runs like a champ it is just slipping in reverse, is there a adjustment for this? has a 5.2L engine

If the trans fluid isn't low. Then check for a burnt smell...either way ur trans is going out. There are things u can do to prolong it's life. Change the fluid and filter. Come to a complete stop before changing from a drive gear to reverse or reverse to a drive gear. Hope this helps !

Transmission slips or doesn't engage in reverse

Service the transmission, when you have the pan off, adjust the rear band. Loosen the lock nut. Tighten the adjuster to 10 ftlbs. Loosen the adjuster 2 turns and tighten the locknut. You either have an model 500 transmission (6 cylinder engine) or model 518 (V8 engine). In both transmissions reverse is controlled exactly the same. If adjusting the band doesn't fix it, then it will need rebuilt.

Mercedes after shifting to reverse to drive the 1st gear slips

mercedes did nothing wrong your transmission is probably blown up. no way they could put in the wrong parts they wouldn't fit. how many miles are on your trans now? did you ever do a transmission service on the transmission that mercedes says is lifetime fluid? dont do back to the dealer find an independant shop that specializes in mercedes, like the one i work for. the dealer doesnt care about its clients. Us independants honestly do care
