SOURCE: the ESP/BAS light keeps coming
Have you unhooked your battery for something? You might try making sure the stability control's steering sensor is correct...
Basically, start the car turn the wheel all the way left to the stop, all the way right, then back to center. This lets the stability control know where "center" is.
Try this:
1) Disconnect your battery, wait 1 minute & just turn on the lights for a second as to remove any residual current from the computer. The lights will not come on but still turn ON.
2) Re-connect the battery, this should have cleared all of the lights except for the ESP\BAS light.
3) Start the car, center the wheels, turn all the way to the left then all the way to the right. This should clear the ESP\BAS light.

If still the same problem then the esp/bas module needs to be checked and reprogrammed by the dealer to turn it off.
Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this

Electronic stability control (ESC) (ESP) is a computerized technology [1][2] that improves safety of a vehicle's stability
by detecting and minimizing skids. When ESC detects loss of steering
control, it automatically applies the brakes to help "steer" the vehicle
where the driver intends to go. Braking is automatically applied to
wheels individually, such as the outer front wheel to counter oversteer or the inner rear wheel to counter understeer.
Some ESC systems also reduce engine power until control is regained.
ESC does not improve a vehicle's cornering performance; instead, it
helps to minimize the loss of control. According to IIHS and NHTSA, one-third of fatal accidents could have been prevented by the technology
You hawe maiby some broken sensor.

you need to see what the eng lite for if there is a trans codes usually the pcm wont let the speed go over 40 stays in safe mode untill you fix the problem or change the sensor, for the esp you need to chage the esp sensor and recalibrate by the dealer
