05 honda odyssey with rear clunking noise coming from the passenger rear. Only happens when going over dips or bumps. it sounds like its coming from the wheel weld, its a hollow clunking sound. Change shocks with no luck, all bolts are tight, upper ball joints are good, has no sway bar or lower ball joints, coil spring is in good condition, control arm bushing are good, tie rod bushings are good, any ideas are appreciated

UPPER CONTROL ARM:
Do not disassemble the upper arm. If the ball joint or bushings are faulty, or the upper arm is damaged, the entire upper arm must be replaced.
Do not disassemble the upper arm. If the ball joint or bushings are faulty, or the upper arm is damaged, the entire upper arm must be replaced.
To install:
Use new self-locking nuts when installing the upper arm and strut.
The bushings on the front lower control arms are replaceable on most models.
This procedure requires the use of a press and may be above the skill range of the average driveway enthusiast. It is recommended that this procedure be done by a qualified machine shop if you are not skilled in the proper use of a press.
It is recommended that both the left and right lower control arm bushings be replaced at the same time. The vehicles handling may become unstable if there are new bushings on one side of the car and worn ones on the other.

It's unlikely to be a ball joint on an '05. Make sure the mechanic jacks the car up under the lower control arm then checks radial and axiel (up and down). The sway bar links are bad about making noise.

a clunking clanging noise sounds very much like your stabilizer bar end links and bushings. you have a thin rear "sway" bar on the rear of your odyssey. this can cause a whole lot of noise. grab each side and pull/push. if it feals loose, replace the end links and bushings.

That sounds like a stabilizer link or an upper ball joint.
