Battery drain We are experiancing extremly cold temps right now. I went out to start my 97 jeep grand cherokee limited 5.2 litre and it had no power. however there is a constant clicking noise that is coming out of the fuse box, in the passenger side foot area. The clicking stops when you try to jump it and power comes to the car, however once you remove the cables and turn the key off, the clicking comes back. Any answers?

Check to determine actual volts in battery charge if necessary. Remove & clean battery posts and inside of terminals. Check engine ends of battery wires as well making sure they are clean and tight.

Condensation water from air conditioner soaking front and rear passenger carpets. Where is drain located?

98 grand cherokee limited 5.2L same problem found leak not from heater box but from drain mount on firewall under the glove box not behind it. drain line should be located behind right front tire in the frame. Turn your wheels hard left look inside fender well right side towards back side. hole in frame where drain line should come out.

There is the coolant sensor that tells the computer the temp, and the computer sends a signal to the cooling fan relays, and the relay turns the cooling fans on,and off,if the system is low on coolant,or has air in the cooling system, then the cooling fans would not come on,or the sensor is bad,if this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

2003 grand cherokee limited new timing chain, new battery, and alternator perfect. When car warms up has hard time starting like a battery drain. if i let it sit for 20min car will start right up

Either the starter is getting old and drawing too much amperage or somehow timing is advanced too much (hard to do unless distributor is a tooth off (advanced), as timing is not adjustable). I assume that the engine temp is OK (running should be about 210) if not that can cause similar problems.

After i start my 95 jeep grand cherokee limited

crank or camshaft sensor will cause this, a bad crank sensor will cause it not to start or start hard. it controls timing and sends info to pcm for proper fuel mixture and spark at the right time.

I have a 1993 jeep grand cherokee limited and this past week I went to start the jeep and it wouldn't start, after about 10 minutes I started the jeep and gave it a little gas and she fired right up. I...

Jeeps have a part called the crank sensor, when working properly it senses the electrical feild produced by flywheel. This crank sensor which is located on top of the tranny bell housing has been known to go bad. When this crank sensor goes bad the CPU does not get a crank reference and the computer will not fire the injectors. This crank sensor will fail under high temps and if it is old will fail also when cold.
You have to find out if the injectors are getting a pulse when the car does'nt start.

OD light on 97 Jeep comes on when it's cold outside

Calvin...... You need to treat your Jeep to a new THERMOSTAT. The Overdrive is connected to the engine coolant temperature and if the engine is n ot warmed up properly, the Overdrive will not engage. Try to get a thermostat from the Jeep dealer so you will have exactly the right one, some of the cheapoie ones will not work right. Dave in Iowa
