SOURCE: i need instructions on how to change a crankshaft

It's behind the harmonnic balance. You WILL need a special puller set for this job. A normal blancer puller will NOT work. Once you get the balance off it is bolted to the engine. I'm not sure where one would find the puller set from besides a tool guy. Some of the auto parts stores have special tools they will loan out. May want to try them. I would imagine that if you need to purchace the tool then it may be cheaper to pay someone to do it. I know they are expecive through the big tool companies. Hope that helps.

How to change a belt on a 06 grand prix gt 3800 series 3 supercharged it has 3 belts need a disgram

Changing a belt on a 2006 Grand Prix GT 3800 series 3 supercharged engine can be a bit of a challenging task. Here are the steps you can follow to change the belt:
  1. First, open the hood and locate the tensioner pulley. This is the pulley that is used to apply tension to the belt.
  2. Place a belt tensioner tool or a large screwdriver against the tensioner pulley and push down on it to release the tension on the belt.
  3. Remove the belt from the pulleys by hand. Be careful not to damage the belt or the pulleys.
  4. Once the belt is removed, inspect it for any signs of wear or damage. If the belt is damaged, it should be replaced.
  5. To install the new belt, first thread it through the pulleys, starting at the crank pulley and working your way around. Make sure the belt is properly seated on all of the pulleys.
  6. Once the belt is in place, use the belt tensioner tool or a large screwdriver to apply tension to the belt by pushing down on the tensioner pulley.
  7. Finally, start the engine and listen for any unusual noises. If everything sounds normal, you're all set!
It's always a good idea to consult your vehicle's owner's manual for specific instructions on how to change the belt. If you're not comfortable with this task, it's best to have a professional mechanic do it for you.

Will a 3800 pontiac grand prix fit in a 2001 pontiac grand prix that has the 3100 engine?

you would need to change a lot exhaust the computer the pumps the trans might even be different motor mounts the sub frame could be different as well so unless you have the whole car to swap stuff over its not prattical and if you have a state that test emissions you might never get it to pass

I need to replace the serpentine belt on my 2007 Grand Prix, but I cannot find a routing diagram anywhere. There is not one under the hood. The manual does not have a diagram either. Where can I find one?...

If you have the 3800 Series II or Series III engine, this should help you out.

If you dont have the supercharger, just disregard the belt routing with the S/C on it.
