SOURCE: #5 cylinder misfire

I have a corolla and had #4 cylinder misfire also diagnosed at autozone. After changing the spark plugs, problem persisted, along with the same error code, so they recommended changing the spark plug wires, and that is what fixed it. I would have changed the rotor cap too, but was low on dough. Glad that was not the problem.

SOURCE: hesitation during acceleration

could be the type of plug you are using.I was told only to use ngk plugs.I recently put bosch plugs in my mazda 3 and the check engine light came on and it started missfiring.

SOURCE: shaking mazda mpv 2003 in idle and loud radiator fan

Hello there, As far as the check engine light I would think since you mentioned it shacking that your light will probably be on for a misfire, Meaning most likely you have a spark plug wire going bad. I would stop by somewhere such as Autozone for a free check to tell you why your light is on just to double check.

Your fan issue could be several different things such as the fan motor going bad or the blades could be rubbing something, that one is a little tricky without hearing it.

Good Luck and I hope this does help you some. Allen

If you got misfire codes (P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, etc.) You need to fix the misfires. See my notes at link below.

Knocking/tapping sound behind left side of engine

if the knocking is occurring while vehicle is in motion it can be a driveshaft cv joint bad..if it occurs while not moving but in gear, it could be the exhaust rattleing under the car..may also be the front end suspension bushings worn..

1995 Mazda MPV Noise

if it's a knocking sound it could be worn internal compnents ie. rod bearings. if it's a ticking sound the valves may need adjustment.
either way a mechanic will have to hear the sound to properly identify it.

Mazda MPV V6 engine noise

My strong guess without looking at it would be a cracked exhaust manifold, when it gets hot the metal expands an it doesn't leak.
